Domaine Ricardelle de Lautrec, Scène n°2 Pinot Noir 2025

Ricardelle de Lautrec is located in the Languedoc region and practices biodynamic farming. For their Scène series, they collaborate with local artists for the labels. This is their entry-level Pinot Noir, made for early drinking.

What you smell
Raspberries and blackberries, fresh and direct. No oak, no frills, pure fruit.

What you taste
Light-bodied and smooth, with barely noticeable tannins. The acidity keeps it fresh without being sharp. Drink within two years for maximum fruitiness.

How it's made
100% Pinot Noir from biodynamic vineyards. Vinification focused on fruit, without oak aging.

Serve
Lightly chilled between 14 and 16°C. No decanting needed, just open and pour.

Pairs well with

  • Duck breast with orange sauce: the red fruit of the wine complements the citrus, while the light body doesn't overpower the meat.
  • Vegetable lasagna: the soft tannins and fresh acidity cut through the creamy cheese layers without dominating.
  • Charcuterie: the fruitiness and cool serving temperature make this a perfect picnic wine with cured sausage and pâté.

Awards

  • Concours Terre de Vins: Silver Medal

- Duck breast with orange sauce: the red fruit of the wine matches the citrus, while the light body doesn't have to compete with the meat.
